TRON Engages Brazilian Regulators on Crypto Tracing and Recovery
TRON DAO representatives attended a Brazilian forum on tracing, freezing and recovering digital assets, establishing direct contact with public-ministry and regulatory bodies.
TRON DAO sent community spokesperson Sam Elfarra and General Counsel John O. Hurston to a two-day forum in Brasília on crypto-asset tracing and recovery.
The event, held August 26-27 and organized by the Digital Currencies Governance Group and Brazil’s National Council of the Public Ministry (CNMP), drew more than 100 attendees from the central bank, Federal Revenue Service, National Council of Justice, and state prosecutors.
Scope of the forum
Elfarra presented on public-ledger transparency and the T3 Financial Crime Unit. Hurston joined a panel on coordination between agencies and private-sector firms for freezing, seizing and returning digital assets.
TRON stated that the forum was its first formal engagement with CNMP and that it was the only blockchain network represented.
Unverified details
