Kalshi Expands American Perpetuals With Five New CFTC Contracts
Kalshi added perpetual contracts on ADA, BNB, AAVE, WLD and VVV to its CFTC-regulated lineup, extending the framework under CME legal challenge.
Kalshi launched perpetual contracts on Cardano (ADA), Binance Coin (BNB), Aave (AAVE), Worldcoin (WLD) and Venice Token (VVV) through its American Perpetuals brand.
The contracts are CFTC-regulated, USD-settled and carry no expiration date. BNB lists a maximum leverage of 4.5x.
The platform now offers such contracts on Bitcoin and 17 altcoins. Filings for Stellar (XLM), Polkadot (DOT) and Hedera (HBAR) remain pending with the CFTC.
Regulatory context
The launch follows a CFTC filing submitted last week and occurs while the agency's motion to dismiss CME Group's lawsuit over the May 29 policy remains pending.
What remains unknown
Trading volumes, open interest and actual leverage usage on the new contracts have not been disclosed. Exact CFTC approval dates for the newest listings are also not stated.
