Jack McDonald, Ripple senior vice president for stablecoins, stated that RLUSD market capitalization has exceeded $2 billion, with more than $1 billion issued on the XRP Ledger.
The milestone arrived less than two years after the stablecoin’s launch. McDonald framed the supply as the dollar leg for tokenized-asset trading, payments and lending on the ledger rather than exchange liquidity.
