Ondo Ends USDY Minting on Aptos and Noble With Exit Windows
Ondo Finance will stop minting USDY on Aptos and Noble from September 8, 2026, while maintaining full backing and providing defined redemption and bridging options through 2027.
Ondo Finance will cease minting USDY on the Aptos and Noble networks effective September 8, 2026. The change leaves USDY on other supported chains unaffected and does not alter the token's full backing by short-term U.S. Treasuries.
Exit paths and backing
Holders of 1,000 USDY or more can bridge to another supported network or redeem directly with Ondo at net asset value until September 8, 2027. Smaller holders can exit through third-party liquidity on Hyperion (Aptos) or Osmosis (Noble) during a 90-day window ending December 7, 2026.
Tokens on Osmosis and Mantra that arrived via IBC from Noble follow the same routes. Ondo stated the move concentrates utility on networks where tokenized assets deliver the greatest value.
