MoonPay Integrates Kamino into PayBox for AI-Driven Solana Lending
MoonPay has added Kamino lending to its PayBox AI vault, live outside the US, with passkey approvals and threshold cryptography security.

MoonPay has integrated the Solana lending protocol Kamino into its PayBox AI vault. The feature is live for users outside the United States.
Transaction Flow
Users can tell an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to lend or borrow on Kamino. The assistant prepares the transaction, and the user approves it with a passkey. No separate protocol website or wallet interface is required.
Security Controls
Wallet keys are protected by threshold cryptography and secure enclaves. No single party, including MoonPay or the AI, holds a complete key or can authorize a transaction alone.
Company Context
MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright described the addition as part of a move toward agentic finance, where AI assistants manage financial tasks. The company reports more than 30 million customers in 180 countries and holds a New York BitLicense and MiCA authorization in the EU.
Limits on Available Data
No figures on user adoption, transaction volume, or revenue impact from the integration have been disclosed. Availability inside the United States remains pending.
