Kalshi submitted an application on Monday for perpetual contracts on foreign exchange and interest rates. Andy Ross, head of institutional business, confirmed the filing.

The CFTC had not posted the filing in its public records as of Tuesday afternoon.

The platform already lists Bitcoin, Ether and XRP perpetual contracts. It filed earlier this year for gold, silver, platinum, stock indexes and copper contracts.

Exact contract specifications, approval timeline and launch dates are not disclosed. Whether the application will be accepted remains unknown.
