Flowra Launches Open Orderflow Auction for Solana Validators

Flowra launched its Open Orderflow Auction on September 1, 2026, making the system available to Solana validators and searchers for competitive bidding on transaction inclusion.

The company also introduced Programmable Block Policy, which lets individual validators define their own transaction-inclusion rules without requiring changes to the Solana protocol.

Test results and open questions

In a single-validator test, compute units per block rose 20.6 percent, moving from 84 percent to 101 percent of the network average, with higher block fees, 100 percent block production, and 99.999 percent uptime.

Those results came from one validator only. Performance across a wider set of operators or during network congestion remains untested. Adoption by validators and searchers, and any effect on validator revenue, are still unknown.
